Administration Officer & School Excursion Planner
This role has been created to support the increasing demand for our Deanes Educational Tours, which help schools from across Australia enjoy seamless, safe, and memorable excursions to Canberra, the Snowy Mountains, and beyond.
It also plays a vital part in assisting with general group bookings for charters, excursions, camp transfers, events, and community travel.
What the Role Involves
The Administration Officer & School Excursion Planner will play a key part in our operations, combining the responsibilities of office administration with the exciting task of helping schools plan their educational experiences.
From quotations, managing bookings and preparing itineraries to coordinating with venues, attractions, and accommodation providers, this position is ideal for someone who loves organisation, thrives on variety, and enjoys working in a team environment.
Alongside educational tours, the role will also involve assisting with general group bookings – from excursions, camp transfers, events, and community travel. – ensuring every journey is smooth and stress-free.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with:
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Great communication and attention to detail
Confidence using Microsoft Office and office systems
A proactive and positive approach to customer service
Experience in school excursion planning, tourism, events, or group bookings is highly regarded, but not essential – we value the right attitude and willingness to learn.
